About Us

We are two artists, Hyde and Melan, based in Southern California. We first started selling at cons after college, and we eventually became housemates! Now to keep things simple, we've become a joint store with all our merchandise and art in one place, instead of running two separate shops from one building. (No, we’re not dating). We also go to conventions throughout the year as a studio, so check us out if we’re in the area!!

Shop Questions

Q: Do you give discounts for bulk orders?
A: We have limited quantities of most products, but please contact us with details and quantities on what you're looking for and we might be able to give you a discount for a large order!

Q: I see someone else selling your art under a different name?
A: We currently own an Etsy store at etsy.com/shop/hideawaymelon.com, and our social media handle is always Hideawaymelon. If you see anyone else distributing our artwork, please contact us immediately. We appreciate your help in catching art thieves!

Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?
A: We ship from Southern California and all packages under 1lb are shipped as First Class mail via USPS. Currently, we process orders 3-4 times a week, so your order should never take longer than 3 days to get shipped out! For domestic orders, packages can take a week (5 business days) to arrive. International orders depending on country will take 1-2 months. Please let us know if you’re having any problems with your order or need expedited shipping.

Q: Can we combine shipping with your Patreon/Patreon Store?
A: Because of tax reasons and shipping logistics, we aren’t able to combine anything from the Hideaway Melon store with Patreon. Sorry about that :(

Q: Do you do custom ____?
A: We can only offer custom items of products we can create in house, such as stickers and prints. We do not do custom apparel, charms, pins, etc.
